-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Cor. 1:1 Paul, called an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Cor. 1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Cor. 1:3 Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Cor. 1:4 I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Cor. 1:9 God is faithful, by whom you were called to the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Cor. 1:24 But to them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Cor. 1:30 But of him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Cor. 4:1 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Cor. 6:11 And such were some of you: but you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Cor. 6:15 Know you not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of a harlot? God forbid.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Cor. 8:6 But to us, one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Cor. 9:21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Cor. 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Cor. 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed: and no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Cor. 15:15 Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Cor. 15:57 But thanks to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 1:2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 1:3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 1:19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 1:21 Now he which establishes us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 2:14 Now thanks to God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 2:15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 2:17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 3:3 [Forasmuch as ye are] manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 3:4 And such trust have we through Christ God-ward:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 4:4 In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
2 Cor. 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God beseeched you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be reconciled to God.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 9:13 While by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution to them, and to all men;
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 11:31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knows that I lie not.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 12:2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knows;) such a one caught up to the third heaven.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 12:19 Again, think that we excuse ourselves to you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Cor. 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. [[[The second epistle to the Corinthians was written from Philippi, a city of Macedonia, by Titus and Lucas.]]]

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gal. 1:3 Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ,
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gal. 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gal. 2:17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gal. 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gal. 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness comes by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gal. 3:17 And this I say, the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gal. 3:26 For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gal. 4:7 Wherefore you art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gal. 4:14 And my temptation which was in my flesh you despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gal. 6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph. 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenlies in Christ:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph. 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph. 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph. 2:12 That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph. 3:9 And to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world has been hidden in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph. 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fulness of God.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eph. 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

BEFORE YOU READ FURTHER: I would ask that you consider reading the Bible with an open mind. FORGET what you have heard from preachers and read in denominational literature. READ what the Book SAYS, NOT what you have been TOLD that it says. You might be surprised at what you can find. For instance, you probably believe that "angels sing." Guess what! IT AIN'T THERE! Saul's name was CHANGED to Paul? Guess what! IT AIN'T THERE! ("Also called" does NOT mean "CHANGED.") "He left his throne in glory." IT AIN'T THERE!
DON'T BELIEVE ME, EITHER. BELIEVE THE BOOK!
That said, please prayerfully consider the following
FOOD FOR THOUGHT --
We know from scripture that:
Jesus is the Christ.
Jesus is the Son of God.
Jesus is Savior.
Jesus is Lord.
These are very clear - BUT - Why wouldn't it very clearly come right out and say, "Jesus is God"??????
It does say:
Matt. 8:29 Even demons call him the Son of God -- NOT God.
Mark 1:24; 5:7; Luke 4:34; 8:28 They also call him the Holy One of God
and Son of the Most High God -- NOT God.
Matt. 22:37 Jesus said to love the Lord your God -- NOT "love ME."
Matt. 27:46; Mark 15:24 How could God forsake himself?
Mark 10:18; Luke 18:19 Why do you call me good? There is none good but God.
Luke 2:52 Jesus increased in wisdom. He was not born with it!
John 8:42 He came from God, was sent, did not come on his own.
John 8:54 He did not honor himself. God expects and demands honor. (You shall have no other gods before me.)
John 13:3 God gave all things into his hands. He didn’t already have them.
John 17:3 "that they might know thee the ONLY TRUE GOD, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent."
John 20:17 He ascended TO HIS God; therefore, he could not BE God.
Acts 2:22 Peter declared him to be "a man approved of God"
Acts 2:36 God MADE him Lord. He was not already.
Acts 9:20 Paul preached that Jesus is the SON of God, NOT God in the flesh, NOT God come in human form.
Acts 13:33; John 3:16, 18 Jesus is the only BEGOTTEN son of God -- a DESCENDENT, just as a human son is not the father.
Rom. 5:15 the gift by grace by one MAN, -- NOT by God in the flesh, NOT by God in human form.
1 Tim. 2:5 There is God ---- and there is man ---- and there is one mediator between them, ---- the MAN Christ Jesus.
Heb. 4:14 He is the great High Priest ---- one who mediates between God and man. He does not mediate between man and himself.
1 Peter 1:3 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ -- The Father IS the GOD OF Jesus, the one whom he worships.
Jude 4 "ungodly men ... denying the ONLY Lord God, AND our Lord Jesus Christ."
The Bible was written BY Jews, in the Jews' LANGUAGE, in the LAND of the Jews, mostly TO Jews. It is against everything Jewish to claim that there are three Gods in one. The prime "motto," so to speak, of Judaism is what Jesus said when asked what the greatest commandment is: "Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is ONE Lord, and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." (Mark 12:29-30; Deut. 6:4-5)
Unless we can learn to think "Jewishly" when we read the Bible, there is much which we will never understand. One small step in this direction would be, when reading scripture, substitute (translate) "the anointed one" for "Christ," because "Christ" was NOT Jesus' surname.
